Book 11 and epilogue chapters (Patreon)

TL;DR:

• We are now into the epilogue chapters of book 11
• No break after book 11 ends

As with books 3 & 6, book 11 represents a major shift in the narrative. Like those books, there will be a series of epilogue chapters to serve as connective tissue, transitioning from what was and preparing for what will be.

As many have already surmised, those at silver-rank and above are now into those epilogue chapters. Chapter 858 is the last main chapter of book 11, with the epilogue chapters exploring the aftermath. There will be more epilogue chapters for this book than have come before, and will include some important events and revelations. There are some answers to both recent and long-standing questions I've seen in the comments and on discord. 

As with the previous epilogue chapters, there will be a focus on the side characters. Jason will not be absent this time, but the focus will be on his friends and what they get up to while he's busy with other things. More time will be covered in these chapters than normal, meaning that these chapters will be more like snapshots than deep explorations.

They have their own lives to live, and the world won't be in stasis waiting for Jason to get done with his business. 

I describe these chapters as snapshots since we will be only be seeing moments across a relatively lengthy period. The world won't just wait around for Jason, so events will roll on and and people will grow and change. Many of the experiences Jason's friends have will occur off-page as following them all in-depth would take a whole book at least, with almost no Jason in it. That might make some people on reddit happy, but that's not something I'm going to do.

Saying any more than this would be getting into spoiler territory, so I'll leave it here. I just wanted to set expectations for the upcoming chapters. I will say that the schedule I've been on for a year now is doing wonders for my mental health. These epilogue chapters take more time to write than normal, for a few reasons, but I'm not burned out at all. There will be no break after book 11 and we'll be rolling right into book 12.

On a final note, I'd like to apologise to all the people that were inconvenienced by billing issues around the Patreon being paused. People various were double-billed, not billed at all, lost discord roles or lost chapter access all together.

I will be taking April off, during which I will be visiting Disney World with my brother and his family. I will explore options as to how to approach that break period, but there are really only two. Option one is pausing like normal and putting up with a month of people getting their access and billing messed with. Option two is leaving the Patreon live and letting people cancel and (hopefully) re-up if they don't want to pay during a content-free month. I'll put up a poll in March to see how people feel about those two approaches.
