IMPORTANT UPDATE - End of Early Access Rewards (Patreon)

Hey guys,

So DSSS is ending soon, only one more page left before I wrap up the main comic, and although I still want to do the Redux pages I don't think I'm going to advertise early access to them as a Patreon reward as I did the main comic anymore. I may continue releasing them here a bit early, but it will not be marketed as a reason to pledge. I'm very tired of the constant feeling of obligation to work on the comic and only the comic whenever I find time to draw. There are lots of other things I'd like to create, projects I'd like to begin dipping my toes into, and it can't happen while I'm still making pleasing a paid audience my primary focus.

As I've said from the inception of this Patreon, I really would prefer anyone pledging here to do so only for the sake of supporting me and not just for content. I won't be halting the billing cycle as a result, so I want to make sure everyone reads this: PLEASE CANCEL YOUR PLEDGE TO ME NOW IF YOU ARE ONLY HERE FOR THE EARLY ACCESS.

...Okay! Now that that's outta the way, let me just say- thank you guys so much for sticking around and being patient with me even though I am a horrible over-promiser/under-deliverer. I really did want to get lots of art done this month but my drive to draw comes and goes and this time it just wasn't there. The burnout from doing this dance every month really hit me, and I'm happy to be nearing the light at the end of the tunnel with this next page. It'll likely be a shorter one, but I almost certainly won't get it done before the month ends so it won't be uploaded here 2 days early, I'll just release it for free.

As for the future of this Patreon, it's going back to being a tip jar for a while. There are things I plan to work on eventually that I will most likely offer early access for through here, but that's a ways off from now. Nothing is set in stone, and honestly, that's the best part for me. I hope to have things to share in the coming months, but until then your support is massively appreciated. And if you don't feel like staying pledged, no worries! You guys have already been such a massive help for me and I will always be grateful for that. It's been a good run, but it's finally time to stop pretending I'm good at meeting quotas and just go back to creating stuff for fun. It's a huge weight off my shoulders to do this, so even if it's a bit sad to say goodbye to DSSS (the main comic, at least) I hope you look forward to the stuff I make in the future. Who knows, maybe you'll even like it more :)
