Hello there, Sakamoto here.

Here's my October dormitory diary entry.

I recently got the chance to watch "Perfect Blue" in theaters at a limited-run showing.

I've always been a huge fan of director Satoshi Kon, but by the time I encountered his work, he had unfortunately already passed away. This was the first time I was able to experience his work in a cinema setting, and I can't express how awesome it was to finally have the opportunity to do so.

His blending of reality and the surreal in the film is simply mesmerizing. No one does it like him.

Workwise, things remain consistent, but I've noticed a dip in my motivation lately.

Nothing we can do but trek onward, so I’ll keep trekking onward.

10月の寮生日記を投稿します。

期間限定で公開されていたパーフェクトブルーという映画を観てきました。自分は今敏監督の作品がすごく好きで、だけど知ったころにはもう監督はなくなられていたということもあり、映画館で観ることは出来ていなかったのですが、ようやく観ることが出来てすごく嬉しかったです。あの夢と現実が分からなくなる感じがとにかく癖になって最高でした！

仕事内容は変わりはないですが、最近モチベーションが下がってきているので、ここが耐え時だなと思って頑張ります。
