September Dormitory Diary Entry - Okabe (Patreon)

Hey everyone, Okabe here.

I started the month on a high note, working on an animation with fewer lines. However, my stride faltered shortly after. I've always struggled with tweaking those intricate details. Even though work didn't go as smoothly as I hoped, my days off were quite fulfilling and fun. I really wish things would go smoother at work...

Soon, a project I've been deeply involved with is set to air. Until now, I've only been credited once for a single cut in a production I worked on while still a newbie.
The thought of seeing my name on TV gives me a surreal feeling. Recently, I happened to catch a show and spotted a familiar name in the credits. Made me think, "Wow, they're really killing it." I want to push myself just as hard.

今月は月初に線が少ない動画の仕事ができて出だしは良かったのですが、その後は調子が悪かったです。どうも細かい部分を調整するのが苦手です。お仕事は上手くいきませんでしたが休日は充実していて楽しかったです。仕事が上手くいってほしいです......。

近々ずっと動画で携わっている作品が放送開始されるそうです。まだ仕事を始めたての時に1カットだけ担当した作品1つしかクレジットに載ったことが無いので、これから頻繁に名前がテレビに出ると思うと不思議な気持ちです。この前ふらっと見た作品に知り合いの名前があっておっ頑張っているなあと思いました。私も頑張りたいです。
