August Dormitory Diary Entry - Kuroda (Patreon)

Greetings everyone, Kuroda here.

My apologies for the delay.

Here’s my August dorm diary entry.

Recently, I had the chance to work on a project I've always wanted to do.

My fondness for the piece made me a bit more nervous than usual, so it took slightly more time for me to animate what I saw in my head.

I've heard of animators who deliberately avoid reading source material, and I think I now understand why they might choose to do that.

I'm eagerly looking forward to its broadcast.

Not too long ago, a senior colleague lent me an animation DVD they recommended. It's an older series with quite a few episodes, but I plan to find time during my days off or after work to watch it. When you're in this line of work, you realize just how crucial it is always to expand your knowledge. It's a profound realization.

Moving forward, I want to watch and draw as much as possible.

遅くなってしまい申し訳ないです。

8月の寮生日記の投稿です。

先日ずっとやりたかった作品が仕事で来ました。好きな作品なだけに緊張やその作品のイメージがあっていつもより少しだけ時間がかかりました。

原作をあえて読まないと言うアニメーターさんもいらっしゃるのはこういうことかと思いました。

放送されるのが今から楽しみです。

最近先輩からおすすめのアニメーションのDVDを借りました。昔のアニメなので話数が少し多いのですが休みの日の時間や帰ってからなど時間をみつけて鑑賞していこうと思います。仕事をしているとたくさん映像をみることが大事だとしみじみと感じます。

これからもたくさんみてたくさん描いていきたいです。
