The other day I took a gastroscopy for the first time in my life.

I had a very strong vomiting sensation, but I am relieved that my stomach is empty.

Under normal circumstances, I could have had a large amount of protein reflux!

I was previously tested to see if I had an increased risk of stomach cancer. Japanese people are known to be more prone to stomach cancer.

Actually, that test showed that I was at high risk, so I had a more precise examination.

According to the results, there was no risk and my stomach was very clean.

Japanese people have long been prone to stomach damage, perhaps because they tend to accumulate stress easily, and because of this they have been said to be at high risk for stomach cancer. However, nowadays, the risk of colon cancer is higher than that of stomach cancer due to the increase in meat and high-calorie diets.
