Just one small typo. There should be a space between "me" and "about" in the second word balloon.

It's true that "y'all" should be exclusively plural, however it is used quite often in the singular as well. It's really up to the speaker. As long as the writer is consistent in how they have a character use the word, then I have no issue with it.
