As a long time fan I also agree that the singing needs reworking. It's a bit tough to get through, like the singing in episode 2 of centricide.

I think the singing from Depression is fine, but what throws it off is probably the backing vocals from Anxiety. They’re in character, but the in-characterness makes the tone pitchy and awkward sounding with Depression’s jazzy sound. Overall though I think the song is okay, just needs some tweaking for the backing vocals from Anxiety.
