Hi guys, as I had already commented in another post, I was thinking of turning the Medieval Times into an open world, it is only an idea in the air at the moment, I am corroborating that all the options that we have available in the novel today, can are available in this "Open World". I'm still learning how to use the program and its functions (RPG Maker MV), and watching tutorials all the time hahaha 😆, now that I published Chapter 9, I have a little more free time and wanted to look a little more closely at the program, before to get fully into the next chapter of the novel. What I can tell you in advance is that if you can pass the Novel to this style of play (Of course, first, it depends on what you want to do) is the immense range of options that this allows, from a character lost in the middle of the forest 😈, battles With enemies to complete missions, have adventure companions (and something else 💓hahaha), as far as I could see, the possibilities are almost endless. Anyway in the coming days I will create some scenarios and some playable scenes and upload a video to see how it can be and of course I will publish a survey to know what you think of this change. From now guys I hope to read your comments about it, I am very anxious to read, without further news for now, I leave you a hug.

I don't feel that Medieval Times can become an open world game. Rather, that would be a different game separate from Medieval Times (maybe in the same universe). More-or-less-linear story and open world are simply not compatible, as open world is meant to be total freedom for the player or almost. Personally I would prefer to dedicate the effort in expanding the current story and make it richer in more meaningful choices for the player, rather than starting a completely different challenge with the risk of not finishing either, or finish them not optimally. Also, I'm not really fond of RPGMaker, but that's a detail.

I prefer the visual novel approach in this game. I don’t like rpg maker games much because 95% of the time you are seeing tiny characters with no detail.
