I take the crown of the young King I murdered and stare at it. It's warm and it burns brilliantly, no trace of blood on it. It is similar to the one that held my own soul, only this one is pure and had repaired itself while in Heisei Gojira's hands.

It is pulsing and surprisingly comforting and warm considering the creature it came from. Maybe the Crystal de- Ririn, found peace in his final moments. I feel the others staring at me, the Silver Giants fighting in the distance.

I hold the crown tightly in my hands before making my decision. Without another thought I plunge the golden crown into my chest, next to my own red crown.

I scream as a sharp burning pain engulfs me and radiates throughout my body, like molten metal coursing through my veins. It burns for an eternity before it begins to fade, leaving my body changed and taking the constant pain I feel away with it.

My existence up until this point had been constant pain. The mutations constantly ripping apart my body had always caused me constant agony.

To me without the constant pain of that felt… wrong.

I have been staring at my hands for a long while now… they are healed, not scarred nor are my legs covered in keloid scars nor my stomach bloated. I am in shock.

Is this… is this… normal?

I flinch at the echo in my head. That was not my internal voice, nor was it Goro Maki's.

It was Ririn's.

It was logical that if I could hide my soul in my own crown that Ririn could also do the same. I mentally reached out and tried to touch Ririn, but he shrank from me and whimpered like a child.

He was still traumatized from that Ultraman using him as a puppet. I caught a glimpse of his own mental image and saw that it had reverted to him as a child. He was curled up, scared and crying.

I resolved to deal with the poor soul of Ririn for a later time and steeled my resolve.

I curled and uncurled my hands, marveling at the fluidity and the added muscle this 'super' form granted me. I looked at Heisei and he seemed to be staring at me in awe.

Whatever my appearance, it was clearly radically different to my hideous mutant form that was plagued with scars and semi dead flesh.

I turned my head towards YoroiGoji and found myself grinning a terrible sadistic grin, Ririn's own murderous intentions surging through me. Ririn's soul stirred and I found myself grabbing the Crystal King and pulling him into my higher consciousness, allowing him to take physical control of this form.

I knew at once Ririn's intentions to give me his crown. One final fight in a body that wouldn't be as feeble as the one he was born with.

In exchange for this one last battle with the monster that had tormented him his entire life, Ririn had freed me from pain and given me a form that surpassed any other Godzilla which I could use from this point forward.

I watched the horror appear on Yoroi's face as he realised that he was not fighting 'Shin Gojira' but the small child he had tried to murder in cold blood.

Ririn mentally reached out to me with a final sad but resolved embrace and I found myself nodding silently at him as confirmation he could use my body to enact his final wish.

Heisei Godzilla watches as Yoroi suddenly begins to react in complete and utter fear as Shin Godzilla's Super form suddenly changes demeanor.

Where once it had been shocked and marvelling itself, upon laying eyes on YoroiGoji it had suddenly become murderous and uncharacteristically violent.

From Gamera's descriptions of Shin, he was mostly passive and reactionary. Only going after those who attacked him or if he was reacting to his own pain. This violence was not like Shin, it was more like…

Heisei eyes widened as he realised that Ririn had taken over Shin's body and was now currently ripping Yoroi's armoured plates off of him while he howled in pain and begged for mercy.

Yoroi had seemed to recognise this too, pleading for Ririn to stop and desperately apologising for trying to kill him as a child. Heisei felt sick at Yoroi's desperate pleas. Ririn/Shin however did not care, screaming at Yoroi for killing his mother.

After a long while Heisei stepped in and placed a hand on Ririn/Shin's shoulder to stop him as he stood over Yoroi's brutalised body, most of his armour having been ripped from him and blood flooding the humans city.

Heisei told him it was enough and Ririn/Shin stared at him. Heisei asked Ririn if he felt good and Ririn at first lied saying that it was all he ever wanted for so long. But conceded that it felt hollow and that it was not worth the damage he had inflicted on Earth during his invasion.

Heisei proclaimed that Yoroi was not worthy to die at the hands of a Gojira and told him to let the humans kill him with their small weapons instead as the ultimate humiliation. Ririn hesitated but ultimately stepped away from Yoroi's broken form.

Ririn admitted that he wanted to stay, however Shin's mind would be too powerful and eventually consume his own. Heisei understood and asked Ririn to tell his mother that he wished her well when she saw him.

Heisei and Ririn spent a private moment together before Ririn relinquished his control of Shin's body and returned it to him.

Heisei thanked Shin for the extra time with his son, and assured him that Ririn's death was not his fault and an honest mistake that Ririn himself knew was coming and left, somewhat at peace but still understandably upset at what happened.

Shin Gojira's superform wore off, his stable form appeared to be healthier however his old scars still remained. He reached out to Ririn who was slowly fading, his only request being to look after the egg he had given him which would have hatched from Shin's additional radiation.

Across the sea in Shin Gojira's inner sanctuary, Biollante watched as a small female baby Godzilla with deep blue scales, a bright honeycombed scarlet chest and vibrant gold spikes emerged from Ririn's egg.

Notes:

• Shin Gojira’s soul is the most dominate in the fusion and could have quickly submerged Ririn’s soul within his own.
• Ririn always knew this would be the outcome and accepted it years before even returning to Earth. Belial’s plans did cloud his future sight, but not to the extent Belial believed.
• Despite everything Yoroi did, Ririn acknowledged that he would never have met or saved his best friend, Gigan, nor would he have had Obsidious. In a twisted way, Ririn was grateful to the deplorable creature. He had built a galactic empire and become a huge influence because of his actions.
• However with Ririn now dead a huge vacum of power now exists at the head of his Empire. Upon Ririn’s death, Belial, realising his lost cause on Earth fled to try and claim it, with the Land of Light now scrambling to stop him.
• On top of this, the Ghidorah clan has now launched attacks on Ririn’s now defenceless worlds with the Ultra’s spread thin trying to control the damage.
• Although Ririn foreshore his own death, it remains to be seen if he placed any plans to retain power to his allies.
• Shin Godzilla’s tail which Ririn cut off was claimed by Monarch, however the Science Patrol stepped in and demanded it returned.
• Shin Godzilla themselves have gone silent, no sightings or instances of him reappearing have occurred.
• Ririn’s egg hatched into the Godzilla known as “Final Godzilla” by Heisei Godzilla. Final Godzilla or FinalGoji was hatched by close proximity to Shin Godzilla’s unique radiation. FinalGoji is a hybrid of Godzilla and KoseiGodzilla. She lacks the illness that plagued her father however is still quite small and extremely aggressive.
• Emma Russell for undisclosed reasons was seen at Outpost 32. After this appearance, “Adam” disappeared from Monarch containment. Monster Zero remains unchanged.
• Legendary Godzilla was last seen heading to Skull Island with a score to settle with King Kong.
• Heisei is currently the Titan King, Yoroi’s title deemed invalid, thus making him the King until another Titan challenges him.
• Yoroi? He’s still alive. However that’s not a good thing.
