I want to add some data to these monitors.
Which measurement system should I use?

I'd usually always pick metric over imperial, but porn probably had a bad influence on me and I kinda like to measure cock length in inches nlw.. fml

Got used to inches but now I'm fine with my native measurement of "cocks per meter" aka. cm aka. metric ;)

Old habits cry hard ... Wait, that isn't what I wanted to say. o.O; I know where you're coming from, Fit. American porn has definitely made its mark on the notion that all sexy measurements have to be in inches ... which is fine when everything you're doing is "modern day" and pornoverse adjacent stuff. When it's all light and casual sex in the "boring ordinary" world, imperial measurements work just fine (and are probably the superior option). That assumption/starting point doesn't hold up quite so well if you're dealing with a fantasy world (with Elves and Monsters in it) and also doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you're dealing with a civilization of interstellar humans living on starships and raiding space stations. Alien cultures aren't necessarily going to use archaic british imperial empire units as their standard for measurement (I mean, why would they?) ... while likewise a high tech civilization of humans wouldn't still be measuring stuff by cubits. My point being ... cultural context is kind of important ... if you're bothering with any kind of World Building Continuity. Granted, most porn (live actors or 3DX) can't be bothered with even PRETENDING like there is a sort of "common world" to build with continuity and lore to be respected and carried over between projects. In most porn, any old flim-flam will do ... whether it be characters, plot or obviously contrived tropes checked off the list of Things To Do. However, Hold (and I, in collaboration) are trying to raise the bar on that notion, by paying attention to little details like this so as to be coherent and internally consistent (hence this poll question). Valeriya (obviously) lives in a moderately high tech world (that involves "travel" as well as "monster heists" presumably for clients who can afford to pay) ... which then brings up the question of what measurement standard to use for high tech holographic displays (of sexy data parameters). My position is that, given the context, metric makes the most sense for a high tech setting with some futuristic technology available in it. Conversely, if Valeriya was "the sexy girl next door" in rural America, using imperial measurements would make the most sense ... because, context and setting. Sure, the choice of measurement system is really a kind of trivial thing to worry about ... but it's also something that can "tell you stuff" about the larger world that everything is happening in while you're watching. It's these kinds of subtle clues that can help make or break the suspension of disbelief for a fictional setting ... even if that setting only really exists so that porn can happen in it. Which is a long winded way of saying that World Building is something you construct bit by bit, piece by piece, adding texture and flavor to the people and places you feature your characters in. Being consistent and thoughtful about such details respects your audience and can also provide a kind of comforting familiarity when returning again and again to your fictional (porn) world in ways that sustain the threads of continuity through it. I like to think that Good Erotica (and Porn) inspires the audience to imagine what happens beyond the boundaries of what is depicted/shown explicitly ... but that could just be a personal quirk of mine. ^_~
