Has anyone else noticed this? Go to the "My membership" tab under the banner image above. Scroll down to the Goals and check out what Hold's goals are for this Patreon. Goals $699.30 of $700 per month At the moment, I usually include a short animation of 1-10sec in my products. With this support, it will be possible to create longer and more complex animations. Animation requires a lot of time and powerful equipment. 2 of 3 Goals $699.30 of $1,500 per month With this support, a set of images containing ~100 images for affect3dstore.com will be replaced by a 10 minute animation with voice acting. 3 of 3 Does this close approach to $700 per month inspire anyone reading this to upgrade their Current Tier membership? I mean … we're 70¢ short of $700 right now … and I don't know about anyone else, but I really think that I'm getting my money's worth out of my subscription …

I would love to upgrade, but I support several other artists on patreon, and with the difference between my local currency and US$ witch is 9 to 1 I simply cannot afford it.

Well, we briefly made it over $700 in subscription pledges at the end of Dec 2020, but then the subscription renewal happened and some people (inevitably) canceled at the last moment ... which always happens and is a normal occurrence it seems. Still, we're within striking distance of reaching the $700 per month subscription goal for Hold, which will help fund upgrades to Hold's hardware+software setup and thereby improve release quality and tempo (less time spent rendering makes for faster releases). The $1500 per month stretch goal that would support animation with voice work may look a long way off from here ... but I'd like to think that we'll get there. Pledges of support more than doubled this past year from January 2020 when Hold was just getting started and establishing a presence. I'd like to think that growth in the audience and fan base will continue this year in a way that can support future endeavors and improvements ... because, really, that's what we're all here for, right?

Hey IBT :). I think I missed reaching the goal as I just subscribed at the start of the month. I'll try and keep my pledge active as long as finances permit. With the lockdown, ive nothing else to spend my money on anyway so may as well use it on work as great as this.
