By far the oddest, most self indulgent, goofy thing I've ever done - choreographing a battle sequence with myself...

This will be part of the Dracula: Origins ASMR that will be out on Halloween - the final piece will have narration over this bit, but I wanted to share a little of what I've been working on with you all!

Enjoy?

Wow! This is by far the most impressive, technical thing you've done to date. Amazing work! Can't wait to see the entire thing. 💀

Did you take Martial Arts lessons? This is freaking awesome.

Holy crap, Jim. Beautiful.

Jim!!! How???? OMG... I’m stunned!!! Too incredible!! This is going to be ... no words!!!! ☀️☀️☀️

Odd? Definitely not at all. Self indulgent? Good!!! It means that you enjoyed it. Goofy? Oh most emphatically not. I absolutely loved this!!! Extremely artistic, passionate and the very end tells us who Vlad really is: someone caught in the tide of a very unfortunate circumstance, who wants peace and love, but is forced to enter into chaos. (Clearly I have a very soft spot for Vlad Tepes). Extraordinary well done, Jim. (gives standing ovation while whistling)

You’re absolutely right SJ, it is goofy!😝 In the best possible way. I was impressed but also giggled through the whole thing. I particularly enjoyed the guy that kept flailing his arms behind Vlad like he was in the mosh pit at a Metallica concert. 🤣🤣 All jokes aside, it’s visually stunning and the music is fantastic. You have captured the 92 Dracula vibe perfectly. 🧑🏽‍🍳 😘

You are the most creative man! It absolutely feels like that sequence. You should be so proud!! It will be such an amazing finished product I can barely contain my excitement! You’re the BEST!!!

A Ha! So there's the armor I've been wondering about. Very creative! Loved the music and colors - really set a definite mood.

Still can't get over the ears! Also, Vlad seems awfully fluid in his movements-- but perhaps I'm just biased and stuck in Anglo-Saxon warplay with spears and axes over swords...

You go, Jim!

Nice! I like the blood spurts and beheading.

I love the haunting silhouette that the armor casts, against the background colors you've chosen it looks absolutely beautiful.

Oooo dis gon be good! That was theatrical on an epic level, nothing like fighting your inner demons and slaying them, lol, but seriously, i can't wait to see the finished product, you got mad skills dude! :D

Oh well done! It’s really cool!

Anonymous

You are a whole film production company and I can't. <3 <3 <3 Rock the fuck on!! n0n

Amazing! Maybe one day can see a film directed and acted all by Jim? (╹◡╹人)

Very cool! As a martial artist trained in haidong gumdo (Korean sword art) there’s a couple of minor changes I would make, but it’s tricky to do when one only has an imaginary foe! A big mirror would be needed at the very least! ;)

Anonymous

That is so cool Jim! I especially like the Coup de Grace head chop!!

I feel like as a society we didn’t spend enough time asking Francis Ford Coppola why Dracula has bunny ears

Amazing Jim! Looking forward to seeing it all together
