Hey there! It's been a lil while. In my last post I've mentioned a hand injury, but I never ended up expounding on that. Sorry for that, it's been a pretty crazy couple of weeks for us here in the InCase household.

On top of the hand problems, me and the wife dealt with a pretty intense house move last week. It's been pretty miserable, but it's thankfully almost over.

As for the hand business... I've developed a consistent pain in my drawing hand over the last couple of months and it's been pretty spooky. Still not sure what it is, but my orthopedist has some ideas that we'll be testing for. Not gonna go into the details but it doesn't seem to be that bad.

I've had my right hand in a brace for the last two plus weeks and I am cleared to get back to work, at least for a while starting this tuesday. We'll see how it goes from there.

I don't feel comfortable getting back into any big project right now, so Alfie will have to go on a short [hopefully] hiatus. I don't really know how much work I'll be able to put out for the next couple of months. May be back to normal, or I may have to limit myself. We'll see.

Expect some random porn next week as I slowly slide back into drawing. Maybe a little bit of animation, but not much. I think that using the mouse so much is what did me in in the end.

I'll have to see how my hand feels using the mouse so much again. I've made my setup much more ergonomic in the last couple of weeks but I may need to cut back on some things anyway.

Either way, the porn train never stops... Although it may need to slow down for a while...

I hope that you guys have been having a nicer time than I have!

If you can, try wrapping your drawing stylus with foam. That makes it possible to keep a good grip on it, with less effort from your finger and thumb muscles. That does make it impossible to use the function buttons on the stylus, so maybe that's not possible for you. In any case, I hope everything works out for you, drawing-related and otherwise.
