Conflict at the Forge (Patreon)

Warez (left) has gotten the O.K. from Ciphon (middle), the blacksmith, to go pick up his weapon from his mountain. He lets Ciphon know beforehand that an extra person will be tagging along with him (Bazithrax (right)) and warns him that he can be a little unruly. He’s tagging along because Warez can’t keep him home by himself or all hell may break lose without supervision.

They arrive at Ciphon’s cave and wait. It is taking a little longer than usual. Bazithrax becomes very impatient and goes in to find the blacksmith himself, even after being warned numerous times not to do that. All Warez has told him is that Ciphon’s a blacksmith and a beetle, so to him, he thinks the green beetle, is small, and doesn’t know how to fight so he could care less about wandering inside without fear.

A minute later, an angry Ciphon exits his cave, dragging Bazithrax and Warez’s weapon. Warez provides his pay, but will need to pay extra for his friend’s damages.
