Progress Update: 2020/05/27 (Patreon)

Hiya, everyone! I hope you're all doing alright. Even though it's not even June yet, summer is already in full swing here and the heat is unbearable. Hello to my new patrons too--and to those who were already here but newly upgraded to the Knights of the Bound Table tier, welcome to the fold! 

I'm afraid I messed up a little... see, when I remade the Knights tier to match the new pricing, I realized there was a small chance that a new patron might stumble across my page, see there were Knights slots open and snipe one before an existing patron could switch to it. So I opened a few extra slots just in case.

Once I was sure everyone who was going to switch over had done so, I low-key announced that there were some free slots, just in case anyone was interested. 

Almost all of them were filled within an hour.

At this point I realized that I really should have just waited until the start of June, because now I owe a lot of people a request in a really short amount of time. I'm probably going to be  a little late on these, which I feel super bad about especially with people's first requests--sorry!

Speaking of being late, I was hoping to have the Blaze drawing ready tonight, but I'm a little under the weather and I can't quite finish the variants. Those of you on Discord will have seen a bunch of in progress shots already, but for the rest of you, here is a preview of the near-finished ungagged version--in two flavors. On the left are the colors as I originally painted them, and on the right is a color-graded version to make everything a little gloomier. I couldn't decide which to use, but everyone I asked prefers the one on the right, so that's what I'll be going with!

In the meantime, I've had a lot of other things going on as well. I've got a bunch of works in progress that I chipped away at between Yearbook requests because I'd like to increase my monthly output. I kept being on the fence on when to post the sketch versions here, and in the end I never posted them at all! I'm just not sure how often I should be posting progress updates and things like that, since I could see it being a bit annoying if I was posting every other day. So I'll let you decide--should I post small things more often, or save them all up for big weekly posts? I'd make it a poll, but Patreon doesn't let me have both an image post and a poll at the same time >.>... so just leave a comment!
