Ägir (WIP) (Patreon)

Early WIP of the winner of last month's pred poll, Ägir (Azur Lane)! 

I ended up spending most of the day troubleshooting tablet issues along with searching for the right pose and composition, but managed to at least get a rough draft of what I'm going for.

For this pic, I'll be trying out Clip Studio Paint to do the entire drawing process and see how well it turns out, since the majority of the people over my Discord server agreed to let me try out a new workflow when I asked them. CSP is quite a tricky program to use and I'll probably need a couple more weeks to fully get used to it, but so far so good. It'll definitely get better once I refine the strokes and figure out what to do with all her hair.

Also, don't worry if the lines are hard to see for now, I'll be using a darker line color once I get to the lineart phase. The rough draft phase is mostly for figuring out the overall shapes and composition so the lighter blue color helps not getting distracted over the small details too much. Though, to be honest, I think I can just do the lineart by cleaning up the sketch and adding more details since it looks alright.
