As the other people already said. Fairy Tail Zero is not filler! But I'm sure people will remind you of that when the time comes :D

You know, with how many people know the two facts of "We have a door that will create a pathway through time to when dragons existed" and "We get attacked by dragons" but don't connect them, it is really annoying.

You have to watch fairy tail zero to understand the story behind the avatar ark more in depth.

So, like others said, Zero is it's own closed story, a fairy tail spin off if you will, but very important to understand Fairy Tails and Mavis origin, at the time they put it in between main arcs to give time for the manga. It plays an important part in later arcs

All I got to say is 7 yrs and the "best" guild wasn't even that much of a threat for acting all high and mighty. Minerva( clean as fk) and lost to erza who took battle dmg. Olga didn't even touched laxus and got 1tapped by jura who lost to laxus. Rufus did all that beat down on gray and lost after 2 attacks. Rogue got possessed by his shadow as a power up and still lost. Sting and rogue lost to natsu 2v1 and natsu didn't even need fire/lighting mode. Also sting and rogue had control over dragon force.

Please watch the next arc after this one even though it’s filler! It’s really good! Just plz watch the remaining episodes of fairy tale don’t skip anymore episodes! Definitely watch the rest of the anime 100% please & watch the zero arc definitely a lot of background info u gotta watch the rest 100%

Fairy tail Zero is best watched after the next arc. Cause then it runs into the final season of Fairy tail
