The official website of the One Piece Film Red has released an English version of the chronicle that Oda wrote during the production of the movie. This chronicle was originally included in a special booklet given to the theater audience in Japan. The chronicle explains Uta's actions and feelings leading up to the present, which were not fully depicted in the movie. My friend who is anime only did not notice the Gear 5 thing. If you know that is what it is, its fairly obvious, if not its can just be a cool artistic thing and a cool pwer up that might not mean anything

About the whole DF not working in water I always just remember back in Arlong park when Luffy fell into the water but they still managed to stretch his neck to get him to breathe, it's more like the DF user can't activate/control it properly when they're in the water but it still technically "works."

i love film red so much i watched it first day it was in a theater near me i also think its my favortie one piece film which is saying alot since my previous favorite was movie 6 thank you for getting to the reaction i will never day no to watching this movie again 😭

Honestly as a anime only I only recognized Gear 5 because there's no way to escape it from the media, but even then I don't know what the hell I just watched, just saw the white luffy and the blue lion bean thing, so I'd guess it is a minor spoiler, maybe it would be a bigger spoiler if I didn't even knew Luffy had a new transformation but it is highly unlikely if your news feed includes OP news

Its not here in this video, but if Ruff did or is planning to do reactions to all the full songs (and hopefully the english covers AmaLee did for them as the dub VA for Uta who didnt get to do them for the movie) could we also get that as a video on patreon cause I would LOOOOOVE to see that

I saw this in theatres after I caught up with the manga, I loved it. Unfortunately there was only 5 people including myself in the theatre. Ado is a fire artist and her other music outside of One Piece Film Red is phenomenal as well.

just seen this and i agree that is 1million % spoiler. you dont need to know what g5 is to know it's a new transformation. the only real way it's not a spoiler is that it didnt exist in manga form, meaning that transformation is all filler but it's not. Once the anime catches up to g5 which is right around the corner. Anime only who saw the movie will for sure catch on as a spoiler

Wonderful movie, great music. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. There was definitely some problems with it I would say, but overall it's really cool. People saying G5 wasn't a spoiler are crazy though. They aren't smart, so they don't realize that all it takes for a reasonably intelligent person is to see that form, and they can put 2 and 2 together.

If it was just the impact and smear frames, it could absolutely be interpreted as Snake Man. But the god damn shot of him from behind, showing the full colors and back of the design, inexcusable.

We don’t know much about the Red- Haired Pirates but Ben Beckmann is already a favourite of mine. The moment where he was defending the civilians and he said “our daughter doesn’t need to have any more on her consciousness” was so incredibly sweet. I wonder if Zoro will be sweet like that when he’s that age. We’ve seen hints of his softer/ less expressionless side with Otoko and I want more daddy vibes Zoro.
