Hey everyone! Y'all know how much I love to pick your brains (and tentatively announce stuff here, so that y'all can talk me into/out of it bahaha).

If you have time, please fill out this quick questionnaire. It's about creativity (in all its forms) and potentially making money from it. I currently have it set up to collect email addresses (so that I can reach out individually for any follow-ups), but if you're not comfortable with that, please let me know and I can quickly change the format!

Thank you guys so much and I'll be sure to share the results with y'all. This won't be on the main YouTube page or anything, it's mostly just satiating my curiosity and helping me decide if I should pursue a side project. THANK YOU AGAIN SO MUCH. :)

This is for a potential future project! I won't share your information but will let the Patreon know what the general results are! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Ahhh thank you for this! It gave me a space to reflect further on what I need to do to really transition from hobby to profession. Can’t wait to see the results!

Creativity is a fickle thing. It’s amazing if you’re able to monetise a lot of your hobbies. It’s what you love and do anyway - just now you can get money doing it. It’s great! But, in my opinion, there is a fine line between monetary gain and the passion that potentially gets squashed. The things that you’re passionate about feed the soul. They are what makes you happy. But will it stay that way for the entire time? Even if you’re now obligated to show progress? Even if you maybe not feel like it? In my opinion there still need to be things that you only do for yourself. That you do for fun. Because it makes you happy. — She said, while struggling with exactly that. At the end of the day.. should you pursue your side project? Why the hell not? Try it out! Dabble your feet in it. And see how it makes your feel. If it gets overwhelming / you see that it’s not it after all - you can always stop “publishing” it. ☺️ Do what makes you happy Kate. We will be here for it ♥️ ... hot damn, that were a lot words for “Maybe. You do you” LOL 🤣🙈

Bahahah, Stephie, how do you manage to articulate all my own thoughts and struggles with this?? There's a balance to be had and a struggle with every stage. Do I want to transition hobby to passion? Will that take "the fun" out of it? Will that make me only take on projects that are monetarily viable vs. those that will refill my creative well? It's such an interesting discussion!!

Woo hoo! Just filled it out. So much to consider!

Did it😊 I’m currently at the stage of my life where I’m trying to figure out what the heck I want to do with it, so send it to me again in a month and my answers will probably be different, but ya know, they’re true now and that’s all that matters I think

Done! This comes at a good time since I'm starting to get serious about writing as a career. My current career came to an abrupt halt the end of November and I'm looking at taking this writing passion to the next step.

So sorry to hear how abrupt the job loss was, but fingers crossed on your pursuit of writing as a career!!! YOU GOT THIS CHERYL! :)
