ANNOUNCEMENT: New Patron Tier! (Patreon)

As is probably obvious from the 'Happy Pride' bit in the pic, my intention was to announce this sooner-- but in any case I am excited to announce something that a few of you have been wanting for awhile: a color tier for monthly sketches!

When I started doing this, I hadn't really anticipated the possibility that the patron sketches would monopolize my time to the point of making opening regular commissions very difficult to do frequently, but that's kind of what happened-- and then since patron sketches wound up being kind of the only way to get art from me, so more people signed up for the Patreon (great!) and opening regular commissions got even rarer (not great!).

This also meant that people who wanted to get their sketches colored (an option for commissions, but not an option available through Patreon) either had to do it themselves or settle for waiting indefinitely for commission slots to open.

After a lot of consideration on whether it would be possible to do so without overwhelming myself OR making the tier prohibitively expensive, I think I was able to come up with a happy middle ground.

Here's how it'll work:

• LIMITED SLOTS, $40 EACH: For now, this tier will have five available slots. Depending on demand and sustainability, this number could change in the future-- but for now, it feels wiser to start small. Patrons may wish to sign up for this tier for one month only in order to get a sketch colored, and then go back down to the (cheaper) regular sketch tier-- this is allowed and expected-- but should be done with the awareness that the slot may be taken by somebody else once given up! 
• SKETCH -> COLOR: This tier grants the option to either get a monthly sketch like normal OR to have a previously-requested sketch (ie, a sketch that the patron has already received from a previous month) colored-- not both! Color-Tier Patrons are welcome to continue requesting sketches as normal while holding one of the slots, but should have an already-existing sketch in mind if they wish to have something colored. If a patron would like to have an entirely NEW sketch in color, this will take a minimum of two months: one month to request the sketch, and the next month to request it be colored. (While not required, this tier is recommended for long-time patrons who already have a lot of sketches on hand for this reason!)
• REPEATED FOR EMPHASIS: Patrons who sign up for the Color Tier receive the option of getting a pre-existing sketch colored. They may still use their monthly request for a new, regular sketch while signed up for this tier, but will not be able to request both a sketch and color in the same month.
• FLAT COLORS ONLY: While minor details such as blushes may be added in a more painterly style, the colored sketches will be done in flats like the example images featured above. If full painterly color such as what I offer for commissions is what you would prefer for a particular sketch, it's recommended to do so via commission upgrade rather than a Color Tier slot.
• OTHERWISE, SAME RULES AS THE SKETCHES: All the same guidelines present for sketch requests (the ones in each monthly submission post) apply.
• SLOTS WILL GO LIVE ON JULY 15TH: If this interests you and you'd like to get in on it right from the start, keep an eye out for the slots opening on July 15th once the usual monthly submission posts go up!
