Nanase and Her Fox Conclusion!

- At egscomics

Commentary

The inevitable consequence of good people working around a magic system that, whether intentionally or not, encourages selfish spells.

Which I wish I could say was the plan way back when I first came up with the magic system, but my main goal then was just to have spells be individualized, and to do character stuff with it. It wasn't until much later that I realized I created a system that naturally encouraged helpful spells with side effects that reflect the first user of each spell.

Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure people effectively called Nanase's solution back when Ashley first expressed her concerns, so today is a good day for cookies.

The FUTURE!

What I've decided to do next is one of two canon storylines. The fact that I'm still deciding on which one is one reason why I'm giving myself two weeks.

There are untold stories I consider canon that I don't really see us getting to naturally in the main section given the bigger story arcs. While I want the option to do non-canon nonsense should the mood strike, I've enjoyed being able to do smaller canon stories in EGSNP.

Granted, I probably shouldn't make most of them 60+ comics, or... Holy carp, Who is Ellen was 166 comics???

Okay, I'm going to make them however long I feel they need to be, but I'm going to try to wake up my inner-editor, too.

This seems to be the reason behind half the special abilities in anime…

Some Ed

No, Tedd, that's entirely *not* what will happen from this. Instead, this is going to produce a line of incredibly indulgent weird spells that have an odd potentially altruistic side effect.
