Commentary

I like how muscular Tedd turned out in this comic, but I'm less keen on extra bulky Elliot. Elliot with a LITTLE extra muscle can look pretty natural and good, but in this comic, I wanted enough extra muscle for him to look big even without a normal-sized Elliot for comparison. I consider the result a bit much.

I'm not saying I messed up, of course. The point was a clearly more muscular Elliot, and that's what we got. I just don't think it's a great look for him.

That aside, I'm gradually getting a handle on drawing muscular features with less strong lines, and more subtle use of shadow. I think there's a risk of making someone look more messy or wrinkly than muscular with lines meant to add definition, and I think I prefer the results shadows give unless intentionally going for an over-the-top, bodybuilder look (in which case shadows might not cut it).

Also, yes, I'd been waiting for an opportunity to have Tedd switch to a feminine form between comics, and this seemed like the best opportunity.

Yesss, muscular Tedd and Eliot is exactly what I'm here for. And the story, although I need to catch up on np so I have no clue what's going on here haha
