Larry, Rich, and George weren't entirely clear on what they were meant to be doing as Santa Ellen's temporary elves, but Larry and George immediately agreed to it, and Rich experienced a fear of missing out strong enough to agree shortly after.

Larry's tendency to absent-mindedly tap his own head with the striped magic wand he'd been given (which, for some reason, looked like a drumstick) did result in additional awkwardness, however.

I definitely wanted to have a Christmas sketchbook this year, but it doesn't really feel a lot like Christmas for me this year, so I wasn't sure what I was in the mood to do.

And then I imagined elf girl Rich as seen here, and I wanted to draw that. Rich is just a very transformable character to me (he cheats a bit by having blue hair).

So the end result is a very self-indulgent sketchbook! Hopefully others like it as well. For everyone who prefer characters not change shape this much, I know you're out there, and I intend to do something with these three in feminine forms closer to their default forms later.

I wish a happy holidays to all, encompassing all the various holidays at this time. Thank you all for supporting the comic, be it by reading, sharing, Patreon, psychic projections encouraging others to read it, etc. I very much appreciate it, and I couldn't do this without you.

I also appreciate the patience and kind words while I've taken some time off due to a personal matter. I've not received one rude comment about it, and on the internet, that's huge. Thank you very much.

When you get self-indulgent, we all feel pretty indulged ourselves.

Who was the animator who said something akin to: "I make the stuff that I want to see, and hope other people want to see it too" it works! and Happy Holidays upon you all!

Happy holidays, a peaceful New Year, and don't worry about us being worried about your worries. Even now, you're doing more than most webcomics do.
