Wifi Fox! Do your best!

- At egscomics

Commentary

Gonna level with everyone: I basically just went with "doggo" for the last panel. Foxes are in the same family as domesticated dogs, sure, but they have their own nonsense going on.

I, however, just wanted Fox making a silly face with a wagging ponytail.

Apologies to enthusiasts of literal foxes who would have preferred her... Um... I'm not actually sure what. Invading a chicken coop?

This comic was essentially the result of me thinking about summons, how Fox fits into that nonsense, and what other types of summons there could be.

For this comic, I decided to share a bit of that information, and to demonstrate that Kevin does, in fact, have useful knowledge regarding things about stuff.

There are more possibilities than these for summons, but these were the details I considered relevant to this situation (specifically "this is what Fox is," and "this is why full, separate automation isn't viable.")

Fox is adorable

I love literal foxes and have no problem with this. Let's just hope she doesn't "mark territory."

Yes, but the real question is... what does she say?

So, in short, Fox and Nanase share Nanase’s brain, and there isn’t much prospect for giving Fox a full brain of her own.

Jenora Feuer

The red fox: feline software running on canine hardware.

"Storage for your extra teeth" I mean, OK, there's lots of possibilities, it's just that one makes the most sense.

I swear if this leads to a punchline where Nanase has to play with dolls & action figures to develop different personal types to swap with Fox, then... idk. I'll get myself a cookie?(While higher problem solve skills can be an issue for brain function, the soft skills of different personality types could be just a borrowing unused ideas of different identities?)

Unfortunately wifi fox has terrible ping, and the blue tooth keeps dropping her connection.
