I think it is perfectly fair for people who read my comics out of order to be UTTERLY BAFFLED by what the heck even is happening!

That said, I've no problem with them doing that, and even readers who've read everything might lose track of a thing or two given how many comics there are.

Heck, I had to double check the specifics of this incident with the fairy doll. *I* remembered a couple of things incorrectly, and I wrote the darn thing.

So brief recap as to why Nanase is like this around Ashley.

I originally drew Nanase's eyes closed in the last panel, as that's a thing she does when casting the duplicate spell (it is an odd experience to duplicate one's self, you'd close your eyes, too). That didn't actually look funny to me, however, so I gave her wide, open eyes.

I actually laughed out loud at the result. Let the record show that, regardless of how this comic is received, at least ONE person laughed at it!
