Someone has just transformed. Which of these levels of awareness appeal to you? 

Can vote for more than one. This isn't about which is the best, but which sound like something you'd like to see.

This is generally speaking. It goes without saying that which is preferred could depend on the scenario.

I'm one of those people who wouldn't notice it unless it involved changes to my hands or forearms, or enough of a change in height that I was bumping doorways, or having to climb onto chairs, or it fixed things like having a short leg, or needing glasses.

I'd like to see something where they know something is different/wrong, but isn't quite sure what.

I was going to suggest, same questions but relating to when *other* people notice the change, but then I remembered you pretty much cover this in the main story...

Logically, I would think someone would notice body parts growing, shrinking, or disappearing, or that clothes are getting itchier or changing comfort levels, or that their visual perspective was changing. It never sat well with me (heh) that someone could turn into a girl while sitting down and NOT notice... unless Magic was keeping them ignorant of the sensation, which is incredibly dangerous. Like people say "I hate pain, I wish I could turn it off" and then they lose their foot because they didn't *notice* a shard of glass lodged in their sole until their toes turned black (true story)

What matters most to me is that the person is happy with the change. :)

A bunch of us pulled a transformation once, and nobody noticed (or at least said they noticed). It was at the Magna cum Murder mystery convention, during the banquet. Four of us were friends, and close enough in sizes that we could wear each other's clothing -- which was quite noticeable and distinct, it being the banquet.

So we four headed off to the bathroom, and swapped clothes, and came back to the banquet. To absolutely no reaction. You'd expect mystery fans and writers to be more observant; but perhaps they weren't saying anything until they had a lawyer.

That depends greatly on ones personal experience. I've personally known people who have told me that if they were transformed ala EGS, and it did not come with its own sensation to alert them, there are multiple kinds of transformations they can think of that they wouldn't notice on their own, except possibly note, "Wait, why is it I feel so comfortable in my own skin? I guess maybe I'm adapting to this."
