Don't worry, I'm sure Grace will insist on unequipping everything if they ever make it into that one town.

Commentary

What, you don't dress up as a scientist before doing research? That lacks commitment.

Aesthetically, I really like the bare legs. Logically, I am FURIOUS with myself.

I did try adding a little detail to imply that what's under the thicker part of the armor is a sort of scale mail, but the detail just looked a bit weird in my style, and I decided I didn't want to overdo things on detail anyway.

As for companion immortality in games, it will vary. In some games, companions will just become incapacitated until all nearby enemies are defeated, in some they'll just be done forever at zero HP, and in others, they might always bounce back unless YOU'RE the one who finishes them.

It would've been too wordy to include in the comic, but I imagine the game Grace is playing works like that last example, and Grace is ultimately worried she'll accidentally hit Carol while flailing her claws around.

Nooo, Busty Dog-Sarah! We knew you well... Or, we didn't know you well. But we loved you, anyway.

Sarah's ease with messing around with those forms is DELIGHTFUL. And RESEARCH GRACE which is now going into the reaction image folder.

No, I don't dress as a scientist before doing research. When would I ever wear my wizard outfit if I did that? It's not like I ever go around casting magic.

Reading the commentary before the comic actually loaded on my phone left me going "well of course I dress up first, that lab coat has the best intelligence bonus available"

To be fair, I'm sure Ted has a closet full of lab coats at his disposal, I would certainly dress up if I had such a supply. On a related note, Grace with reading glasses? I know it's just part of the costume, but it just seems out of place on a character who could just shapeshift that problem away. Maybe safety goggles? Still science eyewear and more likely to be in supply in a lab. *shrug*

'Aesthetically, I like bare legs' - Me too, buddy, me too.

I tinted them slightly to sort of imply they were computer glasses for blocking blue light, but I couldn't resist making them look like small librarian reading glasses, so it still doesn't make much sense.

Does Carol lose her lashes when she's surprised or is that a goof?

Anonymous

It does seem apparent that she's not actually looking through the glasses, so it doesn't matter anyway.
