This squirrel was made for walkin'... And that's just what she'll do...

Commentary

I DON'T CARE WHERE YOU GO JUST GO SOMEWHERE SKELETONS ARE NOT.

Yes, I know this may be difficult, what with it being both fantasy AND a post-apocalypse.

In open world games, walking is one of the selling points, really. More precisely, exploration is a selling point, though with with some games, just the scenery can be relaxing up until a bear decides to check in on things.

Sometimes, though? I just want to get there and get on with things, and possibly avoid all those bears.

I know you're not enjoying drawing the skeleton(s), Dan, but I just wanted to say that they're turning out really awesome.

Skeletons with their eye sockets closed are weird. And "un-undead" just sounds like dead. Or maybe redead.

Redead... having horrible Legend of Zelda Wind Waker flashbacks...

But you can only fast travel after you've walked there once.

Depends on the game. Oblivion evidently just let you teleport anywhere, new or not.

I believe Oblivion only unlocked the main cities for fast travel by default, but it's been a while since I played it. I thought you still needed to visit any location outside of a city once to fast travel.
