Poll Description - Lucy and Rhoda are together when Rhoda finds something. Rhoda touches it, AND... Rhoda grows to Lucy’s proportions, Lucy shrinks to Rhoda’s

Assume EVERYTHING found in an antique shop is cursed!

I mean, unless you're an antique shop owner reading this.

I assume your antiques are fine.

EDIT - I forgot that I wanted to mention that the next EGSNP will probably wind up being during the day Friday.

Just going through the backlog, and deeply amused by "Suspicious Antiques". At least it's more forthright than "Needful things."

When I saw just the title, I thought other characters would be turned into reptiles.

I like those scales! Tall, extra-busty Rhoda is crazy hot! Wasn't there another scales-based pinup a while back, with I think Sarah and... Susan?

Dragon Writer Luc

It was, in fact, the same scales (or <a href="http://egscomics.com/sketchbook/2018-022" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">something similar</a>), between Sarah and Nanase.

I'm not normally a fan of the 'swap' thing, but I really like how this one turned out. :)

Sarah and Nanase. It looked like they changed bust sizes, without swapping anything else

I vaguely recall one antique shop owner telling me the secret to success as an antique shop owner is to assume everything is cursed unless one made it themselves, *and* had possession of it the entire time since it has existed. After all, just because you happened to get a tea kettle you made 250 years ago back doesn't mean it's still in like new condition... and even if it is in like new condition, after that much time passed, you probably don't remember all the curses you put on it when you made it. Edit: Disclaimer: not everything I remember is a true memory. It's possible some things I remember happened in other lifetimes.

You say "cursed", shop owners say "Entertainment to break up the the monotonous day..."

I assume there's an old man in a bathrobe behind the counter. ;-)

So many comics with accursed items from antique stores; on the plus side they help give us so many story potentials.

John Trauger

Rhoda is no longer too short, Lucy is no longer too tall. Win-Win-Win...

John Trauger

If you account for the fact that clothes didn't change size, Rhoda doesn't see that much proportional improvement. Which makes sense. Past FV5 moments give Rhoda bustier results than average.

extantCadence

Doesn’t Rhoda have the power to just do this?

Rhoda: after the initial surprise "Well gee, I could have easily done this myself if I wanted to" Lucy: "I wouldn't have known to ask though."

Dragon Writer Luc

<a href="http://grrlpowercomic.com/archives/554" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Grrl Power</a> subverted the trope and lampshaded it, actually.

Prof Sai

Is there a both-small version?

IvyReed

I LOVE this scale! ... is it odd that previously the downward side implied more, but now it implies less? then again swapping proportions isn't the same thing as swapping heights

Dragon Writer Luc

Maybe it’s following a specific location on their body. I mean, that’s what it looked like to me.

Dragon Writer Luc

Interestingly, this isn't the <a href="http://egscomics.com/egsnp/2008-09-27" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">first time</a> this has happened.
