(Differences between panels one and three will be listed at the bottom of this beneath an image that overlays the two panels, though it's worth noting I made a couple corrections AFTER making that overlay, but the intentional differences are there)

Wind Waker is topical, right?

I know Skyrim is, because it's bound to come out on any new systems that get released in the future.

In any case, the overlay and list of differences is below.

Overlay:

Differences:

  • Liz's hair is parted the other way.
  • The back of Liz's hair is pointed up instead of down.
  • The shape of Liz's nose is different.
  • Liz's lipstick is much lighter.
  • Liz's, um, measurements have gone up quite a bit.
  • Not an intentional difference, but Liz's sleeves are significantly shorter, so it counts.
  • Ashley has a longer ponytail.
  • Ashley's, um, measurements have gone down a bit.
  • Ashley's... bangs? Whatever those are, there's two more of them.

That overlay reminds me of when my eyes are out of focus - so much so my eyes kept wanting to try to adjust to fix it!

Messing with change blindness is fun. Messing with change blindness in ways that increase measurements is even more fun. :) (And I like Ashley with longer/more hair too.)

Phrasing for stuff like "measurements" is rather difficult when writing, let me tell you. (Fiction with a female protagonist.)

now I just want to see more pictures of Liz. >.> ...in fact, I've just had an idea! Liz, Ashley, and Elliot hanging out. magic now being public knowledge, Elliot shows Liz that he can transform by turning into Mall Elliot. Liz's reaction is basically "ok, that's cool, but meh." so Elliot then shows her Goth Elliot and she's much more interested. then, somehow this leads to Mall-Goth Elliot, and possibly also Mall-Goth versions of Liz and Ashley.

I only spotted 4 out of 9 before checking the overlay and list of differences. To be perfectly honest, I think I was distracted by the changes to "measurements" for both of them. :D

You know, despite how unlikely it is that this is the result of my pushing for Liz to have more of a role in the comic/NP stuff, I'm calling it a win and cheering Dan with all my love. :D

Incidentally, the first change I noticed was Liz's nose. (In fact, it was the only difference I noticed before I started deliberately looking for changes.)
