EDIT - As has been pointed out, I made a mistake while playtesting! My "unabridged" records show I really did roll and eleven, but moved Ashley twelve spaces. Whoops.

The rest of the game is based on her being on that spot, so I've just rewritten it so she rolled twelve. 12 has to be doubles, so panel two is significantly edited. The original is attached and here (the one with "fixed" on the end is the new one):

And no, it can't be an in-story mistake because the pieces move on their own, and it would have to be an elaborate glitch explanation or something.

The next comic is still Wednesday. The "to be continued" bit is just me being silly.

Incidentally, the board only has 24 spaces, so 11 is nearly half the whole board. I've mentioned it before, but I kept making board smaller while designing the game to make landing on same and/or owned spaces more likely, and I think it's as small as it could be while having four corners, different number of 2 and 3-type spaces, and equal distribution of space types along any given side.

I see where this is going and I'm unreasonably upset about it. :( I really like Ashley's current form and I know I won't like it as much on Susan, and I'm not a huge fan of Susan's current form (don't care for snout/muzzle) and I doubt I'll like it on Ashley. But this is just me grumbling, and I'll stop.

I'm just the opposite: I have no use for anthro-cows but love anthro-foxes, even when they have screwed-up muzzles. In other words, Dan can't please everyone at once.

Maybe I'm missing something, but based on the board as seen in the commentaries on the main site, it looks to me like an elven should have landed Ashley on a one space, not a two space.

I concur - unless Cowgirl has an unrevealed "reduce movement by 1 space" rule? Still, the important thing is whether the Attract bonuses will vanish, stay with Ashley, or transfer to Susan...

That's quite a good question, it hasn't been specified if the attraction bonuses go away when cow does.

I don't think any artist should try to please everyone. :) But it's more that this story has had so many things I like that the disappointment at seeing one of those things go away (Ashley as cowgirl) hit me harder than I thought. But I've been reading EGS since 2004 and this is the first thing that's made me get upset and say "Oh, come on, don't do that", so I guess that's not bad.

Let's see: with the One on the side of the far die (and therefor the Six is on the opposite side, as opposite sides of a given die always add up to seven on a standard D6), and the Five showing on the side of the near die, I'm thinking the Five is on the top of the far die and the Six is on top of the near die. So, unless the dice are non-standard, if you wish to have the roll of twelve be "official" you may wish to change that One on the far die to a Five.

Wow, Asheyl's really gotten quite a few +1 Attract bonuses, hasn't she? Is she bustier than Busty Golden Cheerleader Rhoda, now?

i mean something like game pieces that are paper-doll style cutouts to change outfit/etc, and cards with Dan's illustration of whatever power each has, etc. I've seen quite a few simple card/dice/board games on Kickstarter. It would be fun enough to play mundanely
