Should be on the actual site soon! Or, you know, definitely on the site if viewed well after I first posted this.

Bottomline: The more cool someone is with a form that has mental side effects (the less on guard they are about it), the more affected they will be.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what Catalina was going to say before Rhoda shush'd her. Anyone got a clue?

Rhoda can do animal transformations? Or, is it Catalina who can? Oh, right, it's Cat. She contributed the cat part of Mrs. Kitsune's transformation earlier in this arc. I have a pretty terrible memory.

I, like, can't believe that this is, like, happening and stuff. Y'know? I think I just murdered a few thousand of my precious brain cells writing that. I can't afford to lose that much!

Oh dear, sweet, naive Susan... This is immortal's game. Not every single rule is going to be... Upheld?

I really didn't expect that there was more to the effects than what we saw in the last strip. This is a lot better - assuming of course this isn't the last time Susan lets the card influence her.

Gradual mental Changes? Yay. That or just randomly added some like's in her speech without actually changing much.

If it works like Elliot's secret identity forms then it just means she needs to concentrate a bit more. Near as I can tell they just alter how you act when you're not actually thinking about - things like your instinctive speech patterns, body language, etc. You can "break character" if you try, it just means actually having to try and think about what you're saying or doing. So we might see Susan idly toying with her hair at one point and then get pissed off when she notices herself doing it.

Susan was thinking about the form and not being affected by it initially, and effectively ignored the changes. The less she's thinking about it, however, the more she'll naturally do things the form would encourage. Hanma has mentioned escalation, however, and though the "airheaded" aspect isn't there... Well, let's just see what happens :)
