Friendly reminder that landing on a space owned by Rhoda means Catalina either has to buy it by transforming Rhoda (which she's allowed to do on an owned space even without rolling doubles), or she can decline and Rhoda will have the option to transform Catalina.

I say "decline" in this instance because we know Catalina has at least one transformation card in her hand (The Golden Cheerleader), and with only one card on Rhoda and it being a 1-space, there's literally no way Catalina wouldn't be able to take the space from Rhoda.

Ashley is in a state of 'I can't believe this is really happening oh gosh oh gosh'

Anthony Wilson

Well, Catalina seems to be used to seeing Rhoda like this. Clearly still appreciative of the sight, though. EDIT: And booby traps being stored there isn't exclusive to anime - anyone else remember that scene from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

coredumperror

OMG Ashley's face in panel 1!!!

egscomics

A VERY rare case in EGS of there being so little room for the eyebrows left on the forehead that they must hover above the head entirely :D

Stephen Gilberg

...bullets, according to "Grenadier"...

Stephen Gilberg

Pun fully intended on "booby trap," I'm sure.

egscomics

If being totally honest, I too was thinking of Jessica Rabbit. It has to have happened in SOME anime, however ^^;

Emtu

Well, 7 is the most common roll on two six-sided dice, with 6 possible combinations totaling it, and 5 each for 6 and 8.

Bwa ha ha! Ashley's reaction is no surprise, considering http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=2063 , but that's still hilarious. :) And I like seeing how the transformations affect gameplay, that's something I hadn't thought about. And I just looked again and saw that Rhoda's blushing... has she noticed Ashley noticing her, perhaps? Question, though: do transformations co-exist, or do they overwrite each other? I'm guessing it depends on the card. But mostly I want to know because if Rhoda's going to be like this for the rest of the game this could be my favorite EGS:NP story ever. :P

Kyman201

Hm, random thought. When Dan finishes the storyline, think he'll release a list of the deck he apparently made? I'd appreciate like a PDF of the deck. For... Reasons

Adama

A chapter of the Negima manga featured the character Mana pulling an entire rifle out of her cleavage.

Anthony Wilson

A fact that anyone who's played Warmachine or Hordes (or the RPG for the setting those games share, Iron Kingdoms) is well aware of - all three use the same basic system which is based on 2d6 rolls.

Anthony Wilson

While it wouldn't surprise me, I doubt that it would have the same pun value - pretty sure that one doesn't translate into Japanese.

coredumperror

Haha, wow. I actually hadn't even noticed that. Now I just love her expression even more.

Kyman201

No, I mean on TVTropes, the trope name for women keeping stuff in their cleavage is "Victoria's Secret Compartment".

Anthony Wilson

Oh, I was replying to Dan, I've known about that TV Tropes page for ages.

Crissa Kentavr

He said that there are types to the transformations, and transformations of the same type overwrite. With rules. ...and I want a set, too. o-o; Kickstarter?

Magicat

Ashley's blush is my favorite thing about that old FV5 at the Beach pinup series :)

M.

That's right, I remember that now. It's different when it's the rules being explained vs. seeing it happen in the comic, so I wasn't thinking about it.

not anime, but tangentaly related: the OS-tan's had the convention that more RAM usage equaled larger boobs.
