Poll Description - Ultra badass warhammer wielding vampire hunter Susan

This is one of the first "pinups" that's more "fun image" than "ooh-la-la fun image". Or something. Words are difficult.

Now, I'm not 100% that's what you'd see in a textbook if you looked up "warhammer", but I don't think there's any denying that THAT is a hammer made for war. Wars with VAMPIRES.

That, and I love that hammer. I initially just had it as a blunt hammer, but then I was like "she's fighting vampires, you JERK", so I staked it up a bit, and I love it.

And, uh, for anyone wondering about the vampires on the ground um... They're sleeping? Yes, sleeping. That's why there's no blood on the hammer spikes! It has nothing to do with Susan being someone who would immediately clean them.

Susan Belmont?

Stephen Gilberg

A brown coat, in reference to yet another Joss Whedon show?

Wonder if adding the spikes to the hammer has technically made it a really weird bec de corbin... Great picture though, always good to see Susan. =)

Holy shit, it's a good thing those vampires are mostly off screen. That weapon of hers looks like it leaves some GRUESOME wounds. > so I staked it up a bit So you "increased the stakes"? :)

Haaaaaammmmeeeerrrrrrrrr!!!

While I do miss the "ooh-la-la fun image"s, that is some quality badassery right there. :) And the coat pretty much makes it perfect.

Getting a strong 'Malcolm Van Helsing' browncoat vibe from this. ^_^

So, Susan finally got around to reading her spell book and found the "summon hammers anytime" spell had a new "and make them all spikey and stuff" page added?

Jerry met Bad-Tom, and decided that the "no lasting damage" clause needed an exemption. ... We need a "Bad-Tom and Jerry" sequence, with everyone's nth favourite immortal trying to guide Bad-Tom onto a better path and empower the women around him.

That's an eight point two on the groan index.

I'm gonna assume the spikes on that hammer are made of or coated with silver for that extra bit of anti-vampire killin' power. Interesting fact: Vampires' aversion to silver is the true reason why they're said to not show up in mirrors or photographs (since most mirrors back then were silver-based and film development used silver-nitrate as a critical ingredient).

It's good to see a non "oh la la" option.

Daryl Sawyer

Agreed. Badassery is a welcome form of fanservice, particularly when it's Susan. I still want to see Susan and Dianne as a hunter duo.
