What would have been last Friday's EGS:NP, now Monday due to mutated belligerent backs!

Sidenote: The story may be non-canon, but the characters are still themselves. They might do SOME things they wouldn't in canon, but that's natural given they're aware of it being non-canon.

To the point, Rhoda and Catalina are totally aware of their parallel crushes with Diane and Susan and have probably discussed things worthy of fan fic together about them.

... Couples sharing parallel crushes is the new aesthetic.

Which makes me want to see a scene where AFTER Susan and Diane meet up and become acquainted, they then run into Rhoda and Catalina together. As part of a general "meeting each others' friends" thing. Because seeing Rhoda/Catalina's reaction to that would be funny.

... Dan, stop giving me ideas of things to write x).

Haha, this page is amazing!

On one hand, I do really like the idea that Rhoda and Catalina have discussed other people they're attracted to and there aren't jealousy issues, mostly because it seems like that would just lead to unnecessary drama if there were. On the other hand, it's not like Catalina hasn't thought about, shall we say, "group activities" before: <a href="http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1774" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1774</a>

And because I posted too quickly, I want to add that I totally hope this happens: <a href="https://twitter.com/dantheshive/status/912219053435088902" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://twitter.com/dantheshive/status/912219053435088902</a>

Thankfully, I haven't been inspired yet. And I consider that a good thing because I've already got way too many ideas bouncing around in my head as it is. Mind you; Mall!Elliot is now serving as a partial image reference for a Pathfinder character of mine (mostly for height, figure and hair length).

It is the first time I genuinely want to write a fanfic on EGS. Usually, Dan storylines answer all my need, and there is no idea I'd like to write that isn't already written, and better than what I could do. It is the first time when I see an idea and think "Wait, this may as well never be in canon, and that is a shame. I have to write something, it is just too cute to let it go."

Anthony Wilson

Ah, my ideas tend to end up more general than that. Like watching Thunderbolt Fantasy around the same time I played through Assassin's Creed Syndicate and read through the core book for The Cypher System gave me the idea of making this technomagical steampunk wuxia setting for the Cypher System. And I even ended up choreographing an entire fight scene in my head at one point, shame I never wrote any of that down.

This is one of your best non-canon stories.

why is Rhoda also attracted to Susan? Did they meet before?

M.

They haven't met (see commentary here: <a href="http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=666" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=666</a> ), but Catalina could have showed Rhoda a pic or one of the vids Susan did with Elliot, or just described her as looking exactly like Diane but taller and with dark hair. Either way, it looks like Rhoda wants to see Susan blonde. :)

Adama

I assume it's the fact that blonde Susan will look more like Diane which attracts Rhoda. And we know Rhoda has watched the review show, she's the one who showed the show to Diane and pointed out Susan's looks.

egscomics

Rhoda watches Susan's review show, and canonically was the first to point out to Diane how similar they look. Also canonically, Catalina introduced Rhoda to the show.

egscomics

To the point, Rhoda watching the show and "Catalina's friend" being a co-host: <a href="http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1589" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1589</a> And Rhoda pointing out their similar appearances - <a href="http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1590" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1590</a>

...it amazes me how often I can remember one detail from the strip's history and completely forget at least two others.

I love your webcomic btw. After reading it, I realised that my story would benefit more with a webcomic setting, as my jokes can be sometimes a bit similar ^^ . but, I don't know how to draw :L . I started reading this comic this summer, and caught up in about 3 days I think (or 4 with NP).
