Rhoda didn't suggest potential alternatives in the past three comics because I didn't want to unintentionally imply any of them were actually on the table.

That, and we're in EGSNP town. There's only so much panel space.

I also didn't want to list anything that sounded better than bowling in this comic, so I looked up popular dating options from the 1950's.

Which, of course, totally backfired, because seriously, who doesn't want to see them all roller-skating now?
