December 2022 UPDATE (Patreon)

Hey everyone! We made it to the end of the year again! Sit tight cuz i have a lot to say.

WORK:
-Been back on the commission grind for a while. After finishing the bunny comm, a weight has been lifted. Although, the comms I have queued up now are somewhat a lot as well. So that's going to take a bit. UUUUh, I'm working on those 2 Theo pics and started sketching a new ref for my sloth. I guess I'm prepping for the new year. But I did promise that right after I finished that Hornet piece, I would go back to the remaining Enid and Carol pieces. I have lied to myself many times already =_=;;

-Other than that, I'm gonna try my best to get back onto a consistent work schedule. Working on one piece at a time until it's completely finished. Juggling too many sketches and wips cuz of stress has only caused me to have more. 

PATREON:
- It's been ok. Not the best. Kinda been feeling down about it. The push for more supporters has been pretty minimal, and because of that, we declined back to our previous number of Patrons. We did reach a new record just yesterday with 89. So, it's still a bit of a win even if a couple ended up leaving. I don't want to dwell on this too much but i want to apologize for not providing any quality or personal content. I've just been in a repeating cycle of work and no play. Comms before fun. Money has always been an issue and and I know people are sick of seeing stuff for others. I'm really really sorry. I want to say next year will feel fresh, but because of a recent circumstance, things are actually going to get a bit harder. And it's making me think about changing the Tiers a bit. I'll touch upon it more below. IN BOLD

-I appreciate everyone still supporting me in the Request Tiers. They've been extremely fun to work on. But I would like to share my quick thoughts about them. Because we're close to a new year, I was thinking of personally asking a few of you to maybe pass on your spot and give a chance for new patrons to have an opportunity to work with me. If you're ok with this, then you can contact me, and we can settle all this when next month hits. If not, then I will contact a few of you myself later on in the month. But for now, you can hit me up with your request for this month. ^^ 

-And I will also organize a new poll for tomorrow as well!

PERSONAL LIFE:
-Since it's the Holiday Season, depression and stress just comes with it. Family time has been hard for me to enjoy because all I want to do is work. Although I have been having a great time with friends online. Just being able to consistently talk with them and meeting new people has been enjoyable. Not to mention streaming with them every now and then! So that's been my positive human engagement.

-I now see Therapy as a God send. My therapist has been the most supportive person to me so far. Because of her I started reading a book called "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" and it's just what I needed. Forget about all the problems of the world and focus on yourself. Not to mention, she was the first SERIOUS person I talked with about my NSFW art career. It took an entire year of dancing around the subject to finally telling her a couple weeks ago. AND IT FELT SO RELIEVING. It's been great.

-Now. I want to talk about what I mentioned before. Changing up the Pledge Tiers. Life decided to punch me in the dick again and now my Rent is much higher. My plan all throughout this year was to hit a stretch goal to cover most of the cost. It never happened. I would still like for us to hit it someday so it's staying up. NOW, with this new bit of unfortunate info, it got me thinking. I always wanted my Patreon to be financially easy for everyone, but because of the rent change, I may need to step up how I see this Patreon. No more as a tip jar but as decent amount of income. Here is what I was thinking:

-Getting rid of the $1 Tier
-Replacing it with the $3 Tier as the New Minimum
-However, adding a $5 Tier to take the role of the $3 Tier with PSDs and such.
-With the $25 and $45 Remaining the same. No Increase in Spots

-Now for the kicker. What should be the new incentive for more newcomers to pledge?
It's a divisive thought i think but, anyone who pledges will get a 12% Discount on Commissions. I want to label it as a nice "bonus" but i need to make clear, not everyone will get a chance to get a comm because I would still be working off my usual rules. I'm hoping this extreme push will help support me in the future.
