It was nice watching through with you. It's definitely a series that expects a LOT from the viewer, between the magical babble, historical references, oddities resulting from it originally being written as a prequel, and just having a lot of characters. Here are a few last details: -Illya is obviously next in line to become the grail after Irisveil, which is a big reason she wanted to spare Illya by making this the final HGW. -Since all of the humonuculi are copies of each other that are all connected to the grail, they have a minor mental connection thing (even the half-human Illya). The premonition dream where Illya was becoming the cup turned out to be her seeing a glimpse into Iri's future thoughts or something. -In myth, the gods created a guy named Enkidu to kill Gilgamesh. They fought to a standstill for days, then they had the first shonen anime "heh, you're pretty good..." moment in human literature and became bros for life. That's the one friend Gilgamesh mentioned. -in myth, King Arthur dying and Camelot's fall happened due to a chain of events Lancelot kicked off by sleeping with Arthur's wife and forcing Arthur to leave Camelot unguarded to hunt him down. His story ended with him desperately trying to return to Camelot to save Arthur in the final battle to repent, but Sir Gawain was pissed at him for starting this whole mess and slayed him -yeah, the old couple were just some random family Waver magicked into believing he was their grandson so he'd have a place to stay You did a lot better at sorting it all out than a lot of people I've seen. Thanks a lot for sticking through the series and for clearing all of these questions up for me! I think the historical references are the coolest thing about this series and the ending makes me want to look more into everyone's stories now 😅
