1st episode literaly the first 2 minutes in, note that he is yoounger so full power then mightve been weaker but that was still his full power at that time

Material burst is crazy broken man, it converts mass into energy, so the first explosion was that water droplet converted, and the second the top of the flag pole, if Tatsuya wanted he could convert a skyscraper or something huge and blow up the whole planet basically lol.

The Mayumi fight is underrated imo. She converted her dry ice spell back into CO2 and compromised Lu Gonghu's lungs with that. It was a smart move that bypassed defenses.

Magicians are already used as military tools right now, so it's really just society being harsher on them due to stereotypes etc. Also, only a handful of students know about Tatsuya's military identity and so far none of them know he's from Yotsuba. So his secret's not completely out at all.

That's a good point actually! None of them know that he's from Yostsuba and I don't think they saw much of what he's truly capable of (besides maybe Saegusa when she saw him vaporize that truck earlier)
