Vintage princess in peril - Cadash (Patreon)

Didn't have much time to draw during the holiday period. Wanted to draw a quick piece in between commission work (way behind on that).

Anyway, this is a recreation of the intro to the TurboGraphx 16 port of the game Cadash

I remember seeing this screenshot in a small pic in an old magazine as a kid, and how it made me feel very strange in my belly...

I wonder if it's the source for my fetish of helpless captured princesses?

Went to check the original arcade version, and I'm surprised at how good the art looks there:

The pose is even better, and the horned shadow is a nice touch. Almost went for that version for my pic, but the other one holds that special place in my heart. Plus it has that "80s feel" and they made her a redhead so I just had to choose that design.

Also, drawing that cute vidya princess reminded I still need to finish that Zelda pic

...So hopefully we'll see more of her in the near future.
