Haven - Let's try something different (Patreon)

Hello everyone.

For a while I have been toying with an idea that I finally put into a playable format.

This is a bit of a departure of what I usually do in terms of regular VNs, since it has an exploratory and a combat component.

Since it is a proof of concept it can be a bit rough around the edges.
Also, it doesn't really have an ending in sight, so to avoid people roaming around without knowing how much content there is in the game here is a small list of things to keep in mind:

• You only earn money in combat if you with by fighting.
• At the moment there is only one location to discover (West Mesa).
• You can fight with three types of enemies.
• There are scenes only for four characters.
• The character level is capped at 5.

This is a work in progress, more than most things I have ever released here.
But I thought it was a good idea to show it around, so I could get feedback on what you like, dislike, things I should change, etc.

Unless I come up with something unexpected, Magical Battler should be ending soon.
I have planned a couple more chapters, and making sure I'm happy with their plot is taking me more than expected.

I want to be ready to come up with what will be my next project after that, so that is why I'm trying out other things as well.
