Live Mode Development Update + New Team Member! 👩‍🔧 (Patreon)

Hi there,

Big news today! On Wednesday, February 7th at 11am ET (New-York time), we will be releasing a 7-minutes long video showcasing exciting live mode features. The video will be shared publicly on all our platforms and aims to reveal many parts of the gameplay that we have told you about in the past year but that people outside of Patreon have not seen yet. We wanted to give you a first look at some images from that video in today’s Patreon post!

⭐ Exclusive Sneak Peek at the Live Mode Gameplay Video

In next week’s video, we’re going to follow Anisa, a new Townie who just moved into town. Through her story, we will show the various features of Paralives’ live mode.

Anisa’s personality will be created before your very eyes.

Anisa’s place when she first moved in, before we will be making everything perfect in build mode.

This townie’s dream is to become a musician so a guitar is one of the first things we will be purchasing for her apartment!

Everyone has to pay bills! That’s why Anisa will be first taking a job as a Barista at a nearby coffee shop. That job upgrade shown in red will be perfect for her since it will help her progress in her guitar skill!

Being a charismatic person, Anisa will quickly make new friends in this town which is a good opportunity for us to show how Together Cards work in the video!

One of the locations featured in the video will be the coffee shop. We’ve shown this sketch in a previous post but we’re happy to reveal it to you today in screenshots as Chloé and Léa have put a lot of work into it!

Public lots will be a good place to meet new Townies in Paralives!

This Café is so cozy! My Parafolks will be visiting it all the time, I’m pretty sure of it!

🙋‍♀️ New Team Member: Charlotte, Quality Assurance Tester

Monday was Charlotte’s first day working on Paralives as a Quality Assurance Tester! She will be hunting for bugs and making sure that players will have a good experience when playing Paralives when it comes out in Early Access! Here’s a little something she wanted to say to introduce herself:

"Hail and well met, everyone! My name is Charlotte, and I am excited to join the Paralives team as a QA Tester. I enjoy playing video games & TTRPGs, drawing, and drinking tea. I have also been a life sim fan for many years, with some favorites including Sims 3, Spore, Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. I've been following Paralives' development since 2020, so when I heard there was an opportunity to join the team, I jumped right in! I plan to put my studies in 3D and my industry experience in coordination and QA to good use to contribute to this wonderful project and its community. Now, it's time to take care of some bugs!"
