Hello everyone! Chloé here to bring you today’s Patreon post.

As some of you may know, for the duration of the summer, we welcomed Javiera as an environment art intern. The summer has ended, and Javi has returned to her studies since. Let’s wish her the best with school! (๑˘︶˘๑)

During her internship, she was tasked with helping to develop the look of clutter items and creating many of them. Today, I will be showcasing some of the items that were done in the previous months! Keep in mind, that:

1. Everything I will show today is still a work in progress

2. The scene’s lighting is not indicative of the game’s lighting, since I adjusted it so you can see our work better!

3. Most of the clutter items featured in this post are decorative and won’t be usable in gameplay.

4. This is Patron’s only post, so please do not share it; thank you!

For those who remember, we featured Javiera’s sketches in a previous Patreon post.

The entranceway with the new clutter items.

The coat hanger, boots, and leather bag that are found in the entryway. I very much wish I had this leather bag in real-life; it looks so classy.

The candles and our tiny cactus. Javi worked hard on handpainted textures for some of the items, and I think it paid off!

The slippers that are tucked under the hallway table. How fluffy are these slippers? They look like they are a must to stay warm in our cold Canadian winter.

The clutter items that can be found on the living room table. Grandma fancies birds (...and admittedly, especially ducks) and flora!

Our tea tray is stocked with books. You can stock your tea tray with the tastiest teas and treats, or anything you’d like! The world is your oyster.

Javi did some cute old-style designs for different pillows and throws. P.S.- You CAN change the colours of the mallard to make it another type of bird you may prefer.

Some of our packaged ingredients are on the dining room table. The family had a bigger breakfast planned, but until we finish our work on foods and their art style, they will have to enjoy a simple cereal meal.

The cupboard is filled with wine glasses and other wares. Who doesn’t know at least one elder with a dinnerware cabinet?

Closeup of the liquor bottles and dutch oven. Woah, I guess grandma can have some fun too once in a while! At least, the bottles are safely out of reach from the grandchildren.

The kitchen has been left in a state that suggests it has been used recently. Note that the food that is being prepared is not indicative of our cooking gameplay, since we haven’t really delved into that aspect just yet.

Closeup of the herbs Javi created so players can decorate their kitchen with fitting herbs. It was a little challenging because we had to optimize them as much as possible since they are quite small!

Closeup of some dishwashing clutter items. The downside of any big meal is the cleaning that’s necessary afterwards. At least, your Paras will be well equipped to get the job done!

Needless to say, our scene now has much more clutter items, and it fills up the space quite nicely. It is a bit strange looking at progress screenshots and seeing how bare it once looked. I cannot wait to see how you, the players, will fill up your spaces with the many clutter items we are creating!

It’s all for today, though! I wish you all a great weekend (*´∀`*)

Important Questions!: 1. Did Javi had a brother name or was related to Java *sip*? 2. Which of the programmers had at least thought about calling Javiera "Java"? MmmHmm, how about "JaviScript"? Don't Lie!

"Most of the clutter items featured in this post are decorative and won’t be usable in gameplay." ...*with blindfolds on* my inner eyes refuse to believe that. I don't care what diagram or explanation you used to say otherwise, I still won't believe it cause I refuse to see it for myself and to understand from the perspective of the developer of the game. I JUST DON'T BELIEVE IT. If I had a "enter a troll steam community comment" ticket, let me use it here; at least I help envision more possibilities (My God).
