QOTD: I’m especially looking forward to HOUSE. My favorite Hopemin live yaaay!!!!! Like BTS really got lucky to have two of the best dancers in the industry. Hobi the best street dancer and Jimin the best versatile dancer. Our two main dancers are just insane and so satisfying and mesmerizing to watch, especially together. I hope in the future we get a jimin and hobi subunit or/and more duo performances of them.

I’m so excited for Hope In The Street, can’t wait to see Hobi’s dance journey. It’d be cool if Jimin could take us through his dance journey as well. Would love more input on the dance styles he learned from hip-hop, popping, krump, contemporary, ballet…his roots and stories.

This is Carol’s comment since she can’t comment💜: For me this Hope On The Street project now it's much more about the nostalgia of the old one than "oh this is what he had always planned to do", it started with just a little show on vlive where he talked and showed some dances and explained a little to army's, and had some guests (mostly Jimin and JK but like you saw in the Live he planned to bring the members not part of the dance line too) and just have fun, show to us what he likes to do!! I think it's the same feeling as when BTS sampled their school trilogy Intros into their Map Of The Soul songs, it's about the nostalgia of it, I can't tell you what I felt when I watched Hope On The Street trailer and the logo changed from the old one (the one that is in the towel in this Vlive) to the new one, like it hit me hard!! Not saying this like "oh you weren't there so you won't get it" but I don't think making Hope On The Street this grand and all was his plan all along, it's more the moment and the feeling of it, using the name he did back then, to like pay homage you know?? At least that's what I think, I don't see it as it was always his plan!!!

Hobi: "HOPE ON THE STREET! My roots! The most important part of my life! Throughout my work and Throughout my life. The most important thing to me was dance, and this documentary is about those stories. I think you'll be able to get to know j-hope better through this documentary." Its so insane to me how the lives he used to do for so many years were pretty much leading up to this docu-series. A lot of the things he mentioned in this live about wanting to introduce street dancing to the world, the various elements of dance, and more were all mentioned in the promo clips already. HIS PASSION IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER THATS OUR JUNG HOSEOK THATS OUR J-HOPE THATS OUR HOBI THATS OUR JAY🔥❤️‍🔥🔥

Hobi is actually trained. He trained at a dance studio for 6-7 years. It was actually the CEO of his dance studio that personally introduced him to Hitman Bang. The CEO talked about this in an interview once and it was in the BTS Beyond the Story book too. So Hoseok is a TRAINED dancer. Yes, he danced in a street dance crew and started dancing of his own accord, but he came up through a studio too. I remember how he talked about sitting on the couch at the studio watching lessons when he couldn't afford them but because of his dedication and talent, he was allowed to stay anyway. I assume we'll learn more through the documentary but just so we're not getting confused in the meantime, Hoseok IS a trained dancer. And you can see it too in his turn outs and his lines and his posture...he's got impeccable technique. He's so clean.

never thought i would see yall react to this, i absolutely love Hope on the Street ever since my baby army days. I love seeing Hobi and the members freestyle. I missed these, so im extra excited for the docuseries thats coming soon 💜 Hope on the Street is something J hope started many years ago to show his dance skills, practice, freestyle. Its not something that was "planned" for this upcoming docuseries lol. It has existed for a while to showcase his dancing and as he has mentioned before, to teach others about dance in general... something he came up with, kinda like Jin did with "eat jin". series the members themselves would come up with to spend time with army(:

Hi Familia!! So exciteddd for another vlive reaction! I'm so excited for Hobi's On The Street Docuseries as well 💜 As an OT7, I'm so well fed with Taehyung's new single, Yoongi's DDay movie and Hobi's on the street hehe. I have April and June schedules for OT7 🤭💜 I'm so excited to be with my ARMY friend/s again hehe. Question of the day: Which city or dance style are you most excited for in ‘Hope on the Street’? - oh... this is a tough question as always hahaha - I'm looking forward to Neuron hehe, I think it was Gwangju - Hobi's hometown and Neuron is his former dance team/group. I would love to see him to go back from his roots. - I'm also excited for hiphop and locking haha. - Actually I'm excited to ALL OF THEM !! I haven't seen Hobi dance again, I know ARMYs missed it so much, too. I just miss my OT7 so much - everyday...💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 So thank you for keeping me company even though I've been busy myself lols hahaha. BORAHAEEEEE

I'm so freaking excited. I'm glad you reacted this - it's one of my favorite ever BTS contents. The dance style I'm most looking forward to is house in Paris because I just love the footwork in the house style and aside from the HOTS videos he posted of him doing house, it's a style we hardly get to see him do.
