May is right, but so is Marigold. Wading through all of that criticism can be emotionally damaging. People have gotten off social media completely because of that kind of thing. And criticism of female-presenting people can be even more horrible.

Depends on the sub really. I know a couple youtubers who still have solid communities. Also Steven Crowder's subreddit turned on him years ago, that has to count for something.

Playing the Burger Oni persona may actually be good for her. Going by her facial expressions, I think she might be handling it pretty well even if she hates it, because she understands they're all acting like idiots. Nonetheless, a few years of talk therapy is usually a good idea for most of us. I should probably make another stab at therapy. (Attempt. I mean attempt. No stabby.)
