Time jump forward, Marigold wanted a house as soon as she saw that Aurelia had one. Momo most likely got a new body because she was tired of being treated as a child, and being short (IMO).

Just before the timeskip, Marigold came home from Aurelia's place yelling that they had to buy a house. Then there was the timeskip and the Cubetown arc. Now we're catching up with the Marigold household and finding out retrospectively what happened. It's basically the storytelling structure of the Iliad, applied to a passel of horny robots.

I feel like Aurelia and Marigold should work out their common social connections and then have Marigold "start hanging out with Claire" more often, and then have a meetup with Dale and Claire's mom that way, so MM can meet Dale without Dale meeting MM.
