I just had this idea this morning and wanted to see where it went so free-form ideas if you have them as well!  It may go nowhere but just wanted to put it out there.

It is 1989 and a deadly plague has killed off the world population of women. The few that remain have turned into a precious resource for the survival of every nation. In this world on the brink of extinction, those who control the women, control the world. A shadow criminal government called "The Syndicate", has slowly taken possession of the last remaining women, using them as a currency to amalgamate power and wealth on a global scale. 

...but one free woman remains. Lara Swan. Trained by the Union of Humanity to resist the brutal techniques of The Syndicate to keep their women under their control, her mission is simple.  Infiltrate The Syndicate and save the human race.
