I bought a new laser printer! (Patreon)

I’m almost there to manufacturing print comics! According to CanadaPost, adult material is mailable so long as it is in an opaque bag and labeled as “adult material”. The outside envelope will not have anything on it. Problem #2 solved.

The last thing I need to get is a thermal binding machine ($200) and a paper cutter ($450).

Yeah, I can outsource it but I’m too shy to do that.

“Perfect binding” (you can Google that) needs 28 pages or more so they’ll be in anthology format with 7+ six page comics per book. I have enough for a volume #1 and Volume #2 of Little Lorna as well as a book of “Tales of…” which I have 38 pages. Maybe the Diaries as well? I have 22 pages of those. I still have five more Doves comics to go to fill a perfect bound book so I will have to get to work on that.

I really should be doing a kickstarter to make sure I get enough orders to make this worth it’s while but patrons with BB to spare can order them (once I figure out the costs).

This is really exciting! I’ve been messing around with laser printers to publish but finally decided to buy a new and modern one that makes nice looking prints.
