Its been a long month and I haven't really stuck with my "no drawing" to get shit done but its nice to ACTUALLY get back into the swing of drawing.

I know there was the ALLA for this weekend but I really want to get this comic going and get into a bit of a groove.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm going to make a comic with Little Lorna working in the sex industry and that in itself is not enough story to carry the comic.

I decided to do a series of comics called "Adults In My Life" (???) which is a montage of each of the sexual partners that Little Lorna has collected on the way.  I am actually shooting for these to be FULL length comics (20-22pages) so wish me luck!  I don't have the best of luck doing longer format comics but this may be the start of something great.

These comics are going to be a little more moody (not as dark as SHALLOW) but hopefully I can inject some humour and romance into each one.

The first one is called "Mr.Ponsford" which is actually the name of my grade 7 teacher.  He was a good teacher but to me there was always something awkward and creepy about him.  I'm sure this was all in my imagination because now that I think of it, he really cared for his students.  I remember him sitting me after class on many occasions giving me advice and mentoring me in my awkward first teen year.  He did take his camera to school one day and took a lot of pictures of me so maybe not ENTIRELY innocent.  Lol.  I was really tiny being the only asian girl in my class and maybe he kind of liked that sort of thing (just like Little Lorna I looked like I was 14 years old when I graduated high school!)

Anyways… this is not a forum to analyze why I’m so messed up. xD.

The pages will come a little slower and black and white as I want to really focus on the art. I really like how the Coach Carter drawing I just did turned out and would like each panel to have that much attention to detail. Typically, when you draw comics you skimp on many panels and save the work for the “money-shot” panels but I’m sure ALL of you guys spend a lot of time enjoying each panel in your own “special” way.(I imagine).

If anyone has any ideas let me know. I want to do a Mr. Ed, Coach Carter, Luke and a Larry issue. They will telling how their exploitative/domineering/abusive/financial relationship began and develops.

Also, if you can think of a better title…
